MACAT AO-12 is a 30% active lauryl (C12) dimethylamine oxide in water. AO-12 is an effective wetting agent, outstanding foam booster and grease cutter that is hypochlorite and acid stable.
The exceptional quality of MACAT AO-12 allows for use in a wide range of markets and applications. Quality Dishwash Detergents utilize AO-12 for its grease cutting and rinsing performance. HI&I Cleaners formulations economically employ AO-12 for detergency, foam boosting and hypochlorite stability. Stable in acidic systems, AO-12 exhibits enhanced surface activity for use in acidic floor and bathroom cleaners. In Textile finishing, MACAT AO-12 is non-rewetting above 350°F.

| Macat AO-12 is an effective grease cutter in this high performance formulation. Glycerine provides slip for easy wiping, MEA contributes alkalinity. Alternatively, or in addition to EB, consider hexanol to moderate evaporation for streak resistance. Masurf FS-230 is a superior low surface tension wetting agent, or substitute with Masurf FS-1520 at 0.05%. |
