Masurf CR-118 is a unique functionalized polymer system optimized to impart a durable Concrete Releasing surface protectant and soil resistant coating. Utilizing Mason StayClean™ Technology, Masurf CR-118 cures and cross-links to create a hard, highly effective invisible concrete release coating for concrete, metal and painted surfaces.
Masurf CR-118 is a concentrated, freeze-stable, water dilutable aqueous solution designed to be a durable concrete release coating for a wide range of substrates including low energy, hard to wet surfaces. CR-118 imparts a durable concrete release coating for concrete Tilt-Up Walls, multiple-reuse of treated Concrete Forms, and for easy clean-up of Tools and Mixing Equipment. Effective on steel, aluminum, wood, concrete and paperboard forms. Dries to touch in 30 minutes to 2 hours, and achieves maximum performance in 6-12 hours.
Masurf CR-118 is Non-Flammable, low VOC, and does not contain or release ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE’s), and does not release formaldehyde. Masurf CR-Surface Protection Products do not contain PFOS, and do not release or have been shown to degrade to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).

Application:
Dilution:
The recommended dilution of Masurf CR-118 is 1:9 in water, but can be diluted from 1:5 to 1:9 depending on cost/performance requirements.
Surface Preparation:
Thoroughly clean surfaces prior to application, to remove rust, scale and previously applied release agents.
Application:
Spray application is recommended, but CR-118 solutions can be applied with roller, mop or brush. Brush out runs or puddles for a thin uniform coating. Dries to touch in 30 minutes to 2 hours, and achieves maximum performance in 6-12 hours. For best results, dry/cure overnight before use. Reapply as needed.
Clean-up of CR-118 solution:
Clean application equipment with soap and water.
Coverage:
Recommended application range is 500-1800 sq. ft./gal. of application (1:5-1:9) solution.
