MASURF FP-230 is a new generation, low temperature cure water & oil
repellent fluoroaliphatic finishing agent optimized to provide a soft
hand finish with superior performance and durability. MASURF FP-230
provides durable protection that lasts through multiple launderings
to provide long lasting water and oil repellency with fabric protection.
MASURF FP-230 is excellent for use on a wide range of fabrics from
synthetic to natural for use on apparel, upholstery, home furnishing
fabrics and nonwovens. MASURF FP-230 is a superior water repellent
agent to silicone and wax based materials in both washfastness durability
and overall fabric protection from the ability to repel both water
and oil. FP-230 is an efficient, economical water & oil repellent
product that imparts a soft hand finish without complicated resin
or catalyst systems.
MASURF FP-230 is Non-Flammable, and does not contain or release ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE’s), and does not release formaldehyde. Masurf FS-Fluorosurfactants and Masurf FP-Fluoropolymers do not contain PFOS. Masurf FS and FP products are manufactured with telomerization process fluoroaliphatic intermediates that do not contain, release or have been shown to degrade to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).
